Limelight Sports is the UK’s leading grassroots sports marketing and event management company. We specialise in the creation and delivery of high profile, participation-based sports events. Please visit www.limelightsports.com for further information.

We are looking for a team of friendly and enthusiastic people to help deliver our events. Roles on the day vary with each event and can include tasks such as route marshalling, working as part of the baggage team, handing out water to participants and directing participants around an event. Please also see our person specification page.

Please read the person specification first, then visit our registration page to submit your details. Once registered we will be in contact to update you on the progress of your application.

All Limelight Sports staff must provide us with a completed Limelight Sports starter form and a P46 tax form. These can be downloaded from the documentation section of your personal page.

All new staff must provide these documents along with their proof of eligibility to work in the UK at one of our staff meet and greet sessions held at 29-35 Rathbone Street, London, W1T 1NJ

These documents are a requirement for all Limelight Sports staff.

There are still two exciting opportunities to work with Limelight before the end of our event season.

In order to complete your registration please bring your proof of eligibility to work in the UK documentation, your completed Limelight starter form and tax form (from www.limelightstaff.com) to one of our next meet and greet sessions - we will inform you of the dates for these by email.

(We only need ten minutes of your time and you can arrive any time between 17.30-19.30)

All our confirmed events to date are listed in our events calendar.

Invitations to work are sent via email and are usually received around 4 weeks before the event. Once you have received an invitation you must login to your personal page and either accept or decline the invitation to work. If you accept the invitation you will be assigned a role, for which the details will be displayed on your personal pages.

Only those who have received an invitation to work and have been assigned a role are able to work with us on the day. Unfortunately due to staffing requirements and the high number of applicants not all staff will be able to be offered work at all of our events.

If you have accepted an invitation to work but are no longer able to make it please contact the Limelight Sports Staffing Team as soon as possible via email at eventstaff@limelightsports.com or by telephone on 0333 123 2311.

Required dress varies according to each event. In many cases you will be provided with an event t-shirt when you arrive on the day. However event specific information concerning dress is detailed in your event manual.

The event manual can be downloaded from the event section of your personal page. Please ensure you read the manual thoroughly as it contains all of the information that you will require on the day.

The food supplied to staff on the day varies according to the event and roles offered. In most cases all staff will be provided with a packed lunch, however pleased read your event manual for further, event specific details.

Rates of pay are competitive and vary with each event, assigned role and hours worked. Pay rates will be confirmed once you have been allocated a role.

Pay dates for 2012 will follow shortly.  Limelight Sports will need your up to date Limelight Starter Form, Tax Form and Eligibility to Work in the UK documentation to avoid delays to payments.

You are able to attend the meet and greet sessions any time between 17.30-19.30 to submit your documentation.
